The Coco Depot GroMats are made of all natural latex sprayed on coco fibers and rolled into mats. The mats heat compressed to ensure compactness and consistent finish.
Latex is required to bind the fibers together and is an essential ingredient. Our mats are treated to ensure there are no sticky surfaces due to the latex. The mat fibers are not too tight, and has the right amount of compactness to ensure root grows through the fibers. This is the reason why our GroMat's are used widely in various types of hydroponics applications to protect and promote root growth.
